Series: What's the thing that defines you?  When people think of you what is the thing they first associate with you?  What if when someone thought of you they quickly thought of Jesus?  What if you lived in such a way that it was obvious you have been marked by the power, forgiveness, love and mind of Christ?  In this series, we will discover what it looks like to bear the marks of Jesus.

Sermon: If you are a follower of Jesus, you have been marked for a mission.  Jesus has set you apart and called you but you may have to learn to take care of the donkeys before you see your name in lights.

Breakthrough: Know Your Enemy

Too often we miss who our battle is truly against in this world. We miss our “Breakthrough” because we are fighting the wrong things and/or the wrong people. You and I have an enemy and the sole purpose of his existence is to chew God’s people up and spit them out. If we desire to proclaim victory in this world, if we want to thrive and not just survive, then we need to identify our true enemy and build a battle plan to stand against him.

Sermon: We have a choice before us when we experience the brokenness of this world in our lives first-hand.  We can choose to be just like the broken or we can choose to be who we are in Jesus. Suffering in this world leads us to one of two responses; sinning or serving; which will you choose?

Breakthrough: Chosen People for a Chosen Time

Sermon: Everything God does is by design and done for His purposes, but too often we live completely opposite of that truth; especially in the middle of suffering and pain.  We come to believe that everything just happens around us and to us without thinking of a divine purpose.  What if there was a plan.  What if God has revealed His plan and we just missed it.  Once we see with clarity that God does everything on purpose for a purpose, we are able to understand that we have been chosen right here, right now, for such a time as this.  Each and everyone of us has a purpose and it is far greater than ourselves!

Breakthrough: Finding Your Breakthrough

Finding our breakthrough starts with our minds. How we think determines how we live, simply because thinking always precedes doing. It is when we are alert and fully sober minded we are able to live differently- and when we live differently than the broken world around us we find our victory over it.

Breakthrough: Finding Victory in a Defeated World

This world is not one we were meant to just survive; we are meant to thrive. As we read through scripture, we come to the same conclusion over and over again that we can find victory in a defeated world- but how we do that will surprise many of us. A breakthrough in life is a life of busting free from the brokenness of the world and taking a hold of a life that is truly life through God’s grace!

The realities of the broken world in many ways, for many of us, overshadow the greatness of God’s glory through the gift of life by His son. We forget who we are, we forget what He has already done and we get lost because we think we have lost. There is victory in Jesu and victory over this defeated world.

Sermon: All of us are living on a percentage of our income, but we have allowed our culture to squeeze our Breathing Room.

Sermon: There's something in all of us that wants to walk as close to the line as possible.  By seeing moral breathing room, we set standards for ourselves that allow lesser consequences than when living right on the line.

Breathing Room: Less is More

Ever feel like you can’t catch your breath? Our culture encourages us to fill up our schedules and empty our bank accounts. Living on the line creates too much stress and tension but God has a better way. Our Heavenly Father wants to lead you to a life with breathing room.

In our attempt to get the most out of life, our schedules spin out of control. Our time is limited, and someone has to decide how we spend the time we have left. When we surrender our time to our Heavenly Father, He will lead us to breathing room.
